About Tony Panarisi

I'm a baseball geek, an avid kayaker and a passionate woodworker. For the past 32 years I've been a one-man shop specializing in custom cabinetry and furniture. While my roots are firmly in the Arts and Crafts movement, I also love to play with reclaimed wood and found objects, seeing what the materials have to say about how they'd like to fit together.

I really enjoy working closely with clients to give them exactly what they want, from a well-designed kitchen to the perfect favorite chair. Time in the shop is transcendent - letting the wood find its way into a final form is part of the dance. I like nothing better than taking a traditional form and giving it a unique personality, and seeing the delight on a client's face when the finished product is revealed.

My shop is located in a little corner of Heaven, just south of Jackson Hole at the base of the Wyoming Range. I get my inspiration from looking out at the mountains each day, and hiking in the Bridger National Forest - right out my back door - when my ideas need to percolate. Surrounded by a herd of horses, a flock of chickens, 2 Corgis and 2 cats, there is never a dull moment at the ranch! Translating all that energy into serviceable and inspirational objects brings me a lot of joy, and I like sharing my work with those who understand and appreciate true craftsmanship.
