Custom Cabinetry and Furniture: Working Wonders With Wood
Lamps are a great creative activity, and I have had fun collecting river rocks from our Great Back Yard to play a bit with lamp building. Both floor lamps and table lamps are fun projects, and there are always new ones in progress on the shop bench.
My wife started panting furniture with a theme chair for my baseball museum. She never thought she could paint! I started with copying a Labrador Retriever side table I saw in a friend's house, surprising myself as well!

Since then she and I have collaborated on some painted furniture pieces for our home. The horse coffee table (and art supplies holder !) was the first piece we worked on together.
I also help her with some of her student projects, cutting blanks for them to paint clocks and boot jacks. I love seeing what they come up with when they take over my shop!
And grandchildren get special treats...
